Here's a video I took today while driving with Katherina. We had gone to meet a friend of hers for coffee. He was interested in hearing about what I'm working on because he's working on agriculture and food security in Yemen. On the way back it started pouring!!! It was crazy.

Loved hearing your voice, thanks. Katrina's laughter was sweet. I am glad you have someone like her at your side. I did not expect to see the amount of cars there is. I picture you in the middle of sand. Glad your having fun, we are counting the days. Peace and Love
ReplyDeleteActually there's no sand here in Sana'a at all. We're in the mountains, as you can see from the pictures of my first field visit and my trip to Dhar al-Hajar. Anyway, there are LOTS of cars here. I'm going to try and get a video of driving to or from work and then you will really see what traffic is like here.
ReplyDeleteI keep hearing about Yemen in the news, never paid attention before, now everyones ears really perk up. Do you get to see CNN of any American T>V> How about So You Think You Can Dance. I bet that show is really popular there!!!!
